Woodstock Winery, now in its third generation under the Collett family, continues a legacy begun by Doug in the early 1970s. The Brothers Blend GSM reflects both the family dynamic and the harmony of its three grape varieties: Grenache brings floral, perfumed brightness; Shiraz adds bold, fleshy dark fruit; and Mataro contributes earthy, spicy depth. Together, they create a wine greater than the sum of its parts, much like the collaboration of brothers across generations.

The 2023 vintage produced a medium-bodied Grenache with vibrant aromatics and spice, which was fermented dry in open vats and matured in stainless steel to preserve its delicate character. Blended with old-vine Shiraz and Mataro for structure, and enhanced with a touch of 2024 Grenache, the wine shows electric crimson colour and a fragrant nose of red fruits, floral perfume, and subtle sweetness. The palate is plush and layered, with bright Grenache fruit, spicy Mataro nuances, and Shiraz-driven oak richness, chocolate complexity, and smooth, lingering tannins.
