A medium to full bodied wine of immense drinkability.

The fruit for this wine was sourced off Tims' own winery vineyard. Soil profile is brown to red loam over limestone. Yield was 3 tonnes/acre.

Mild heat days and cool nights during ripening allowed for the development of pronounced flavour profiles. The grapes were harvested in late April and fermented on skins through to dryness in static stainless steel fermenters. Traditional time-honoured basket pressing has given the wine a good mid palate structure and length of flavour. 

Salient mulberry/herbaceous and cassis aromas. Juicy berry flavours give depth to the mid palate balanced with fine tannins and subtle oak. This round and voluptuous style is a result of time-honoured basket pressing, finishing with good length of flavour. Cellaring potential of 5 – 7 years.
