Welcome to the vibrant world of Tim Gramp Wines, where passion, tradition, and a touch of wanderlust come together in every bottle! With wine flowing through his veins, Tim couldn't resist the call to carry on the esteemed Gramp dynasty, and boy, did he rise to the challenge!
After studying wine production and marketing at the illustrious Roseworthy College, Tim embarked on a journey spanning over forty years in the Australian wine industry. From small boutique wineries to renowned wine giants, Tim's expertise knows no bounds.
But it's his globetrotting adventures that truly set him apart. From Italy to Croatia, Tim has traversed the wine world, soaking up knowledge and sharing his own winemaking philosophies with fellow vintners.
In 1991, Tim unveiled his inaugural creation—a bold and robust Shiraz that stole hearts and garnered awards, including a prestigious gold medal at the Intervin International wine show in New York City. Talk about making an entrance!
With Clare Valley calling his name, Tim knew he had found the perfect home for his winemaking dreams. Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Leasingham, Tim Gramp Wines was born, breathing new life into a historic winery and cottage.
At the heart of Tim's winemaking philosophy lies a deep respect for heritage and terroir. Each bottle tells a story of single-site vineyards in Watervale, Clare Valley, meticulously crafted to showcase the region's distinctive character. And let's not forget the time-honored basket pressing, a nod to tradition that ensures every sip is an ode to excellence.
