Restraint and poise to the point of the sublime, this is a really delicate, floral, bunchy expression.

The Somos Mencia 2022 is sourced from a single vineyard and handpicked. A variety of small wild ferments were employed, some with whole bunches and others without. Certain parcels were pressed early, while others remained on skins for an extended period, including a fully carbonic 100% whole-bunch portion. Each component was pressed separately and aged in 2nd to 4th fill Burgundian French oak for nearly a year. Inspired by the restrained and poised expressions of Mencia from Ribeira Sacra, this wine showcases a delicate, floral, and bunchy character.
