The Vanguardist Botanic Rosé 2025 is a refined, terroir-driven blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre from Blewitt Springs and McLaren Vale. Sourced from sandy, ironstone-laced soils at Rende Vineyard and clay-rich coastal soils at Lennon Vineyard, it reflects both brightness and depth.

The early, dry 2025 season yielded small, intensely flavoured berries, resulting in a wine of concentration and balance. Hand-picked fruit was whole-bunch pressed and fermented naturally across stainless steel, concrete and egg, building both purity and texture, before extended lees aging and full malolactic fermentation.

In the glass, it shows lifted aromas of grapefruit and pomegranate with subtle herbal notes. The palate is energetic yet textural, combining mineral acidity with a gentle phenolic grip. It finishes with clarity, finesse and a savoury edge, offering both immediate appeal and the capacity to evolve gracefully over the next decade.
