The First Cut range is based on the winemaking concept of using only the soft, free-run juice from the initial pressing. This approach results in wines with purity, balance, and excellent drinkability—ideal for food or casual enjoyment.

Aroma:
Rich black cherry, ripe mulberry, lifted black fruits, sweet herbs, and vanillin spice from oak.

Palate:
Medium to full-bodied with blackberry, blood plum, wild herbs, and sweet spice. Balanced with generous fruit and fine, powdery tannins.

Vineyards:
Sourced from McLaren Vale vineyards. Willunga provides dark berries and chewy tannins; McLaren Flat contributes floral notes and finesse.

Winemaking:
Fermented on skins for 10 days with regular pump overs. Aged 16 months in 20% new and 80% seasoned French oak.
