Every year, the brew team at Coopers challenges themselves to create their best beer of the year. To mark the 25th release, the 2025 edition of Coopers Vintage Ale showcases two aromatic New Zealand hop varieties: Southern Cross and Peacharine. This limited seasonal release is never available for long—and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

THE TASTE
Each Vintage Ale release features a new combination of hops. For the 2025 edition, Peacharine hops bring bold stone fruit aromas, while Southern Cross hops contribute notes of lemon zest and spice. Coopers Vintage Ale is ready to enjoy upon release, but this age-worthy beer will evolve beautifully over time, as the hop aromatics mellow and the malty character becomes more prominent.
