The 2023 vintage, marked by a third consecutive La Niña event, delivered a late harvest with abundant crops and exceptional fruit quality in the Clare Valley.

Bright and enticing, this Grenache presents an aromatic profile of pretty red fruits—cherries and raspberries—accentuated by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is light and juicy, with flavors of blackcurrant and raspberry that develop into a fuller mid-palate. The wine boasts a gentle tannin structure and balanced weight, making it an appealing alternative for those who enjoy Pinot Noir. Hand-harvested from the 1945-planted Gullyview Vineyard in Watervale, it was aged in Slavonian oak foudre for 11 months, resulting in a refined and expressive Grenache.
