The 2023 Aglianico is sourced from a 0.8-hectare vineyard on Sand Road, McLaren Vale, grown on red alluvial clay soils and farmed using regenerative practices under Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification. Hand-picked, naturally fermented with 100% whole berries, and matured in seasoned French oak, it showcases the purity and structure of this distinctive variety.

Deep ruby in colour, it displays aromas of plum, tobacco leaf and star anise, with a palate of black cherry, fennel and savoury spice. Firm varietal tannins provide balance and length, making it an excellent match for food now or suitable for careful cellaring through to 2033.
