The 2025 Shaw + Smith Pinot Noir is bright and aromatic, opening with red fruit, mandarin peel and violet. The palate reveals impressive depth and fruit intensity, with savoury spice, undergrowth and subtle amaro notes unfolding in the glass. Fine, integrated tannins provide structure and length, while the wine retains the delicacy and elegance expected from cool-climate Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir.

Sourced primarily from high-elevation vineyards in Lenswood and Piccadilly, the fruit was hand-picked through February and early March following a long, even growing season. Around 80% of the grapes were destemmed before a slow, gentle fermentation, then basket pressed and matured for approximately eight months in French oak puncheons, adding texture and complexity without overshadowing the vibrant fruit.
