In the ripening season of 2022, Grenache thrived happily, free from any issues during flowering. The vines encountered only a mild touch of hail, a challenge they resiliently withstood. The 2022 vintage unfolded as a long and delightful journey.

As for the winemaking process, the old vine Grenache underwent careful hand harvesting. Upon reaching the winery, 18% of whole bunches were added to the open fermenter, with the remaining fruit destemmed on top. The addition of Carignan (11%) involved a co-fermentation approach. The wine then rested in seasoned French oak for malolactic fermentation, followed by additional time on lees. This meticulous winemaking process aimed to capture the essence of the thriving 2022 season and the character of the old vine Grenache.
