The Thief? honours Australian winemaking veteran, Natasha Mooney's Great Great Grandfather and early settler John Mooney, known as ‘Walter’ who went to his grave in the late 1800’s, wrongly accused of stealing a neighbour’s cow. 

Established in the late 1990’s the single vineyard is sectioned into four blocks where variety is matched to site to hand craft wines of distinction.
