Worlds Apart In The Flowers Riesling 2025 is a finely detailed, Eden Valley-grown Riesling from Chris’ remarkable Pendee Farm vineyard in Springton, Southern Eden Valley, planted in 1969. Fermented in neutral French barriques with pressings kept separate, the ferment was gently halted once residual sugar found perfect balance against the wine’s very high natural acidity, a hallmark of another cool, long ripening season. Aromatically vibrant and lifted, it opens with perfumed florals, dried herbs and a subtle savoury edge, before driving into an intense, mouthwatering palate of grapefruit layered with wisps of lemon, lime and a flicker of white pepper. Delicious in its youth, it carries all the poise and structure to evolve beautifully in the cellar for two decades.
