The 2024 vintage was early-ripening, combining intensity and freshness. The wine is 93% from the terra-rossa and red loam soils over limestone of Watervale’s “Golden Mile,” with the remainder from the cooler, rocky hills of Penwortham. Grapes were picked over two weeks to preserve natural acidity, settled post-press, and wild fermented in oak, while the core was cool-fermented in stainless steel and aged five months on fine lees.

Delicate and aromatic, the wine shows lavender, lime leaf, lemon pith, bath salts, and mineral notes. The palate is crisp and chalky, with classic Clare citrus and a taut, fine acid line carrying length and precision, making it ideal for early enjoyment or cellar aging up to 10 years.
