Rudderless Vineyard was founded by wine expert and publican Doug Govan, driven by his passion for fine wines and premium vineyards around the Victory Hotel (est. 1858), located in the southern Fleurieu overlooking the McLaren basin. All vines are grown on the five-acre estate surrounding the hotel, benefiting from a maritime climate. In partnership with renowned winemaker Pete Fraser (Yangarra Estate), Rudderless has gained international recognition since its first vintage, producing exceptional wines.

The wine is built around a core of vibrant McLaren Vale Grenache, juicy and brimming with life. The Mataro lays a bed of darker, more earthy flavours and lends some body. The Shiraz chimes in with a snap of spice shot through the finish.
