Time in French oak builds depth and savoury spice around a core of dark cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, with subtle earthy, forest-floor notes and silky, fine-grained tannins that carry through a long, elegant finish. Poised and age-worthy, it pairs beautifully with duck, roast lamb, mushroom risotto and hard cheeses — or savoured slowly on its own.
