The 2018 Geoff Merrill “Jacko’s” Shiraz is a mature and generously styled McLaren Vale Shiraz, offering layered aromas of ripe berries, dark chocolate, spice and dried herbs, alongside savoury notes of leather, coffee and a subtle inky character. The palate is centred on plum and black cherry, unfolding through the mid-palate with fine, supple tannins, balanced acidity and a smooth, rounded texture.

Aged for 22 months in new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads, the wine shows richness, depth and beautifully integrated structure. Its long, even finish and warm regional character make it an excellent match for slow-roasted lamb, charcuterie, grilled sausages or dry-aged beef.
