Low winter rains preceded a dry spring and summer, interrupted by welcome rain in early January. After early budburst the season slowed to regular ripening. Hand-picked, 45% destemmed, 55% whole bunch, wild fermented, pressed to French oak, matured for 15 months in French oak barrels (29% new).
