The Forlak Rose 2023 presents itself as a vibrant and enticing blend, characterized by its Juicy, Textured, and Precise qualities. From the moment it touches the palate, it exudes a refreshing Crispness and Freshness.

Sourced from the Adelaide Hills, the Cabernet Franc and Syrah grapes are carefully hand-picked by friends and family of the Forlak estate, then promptly pressed using a small, hand-operated basket press. Fermentation takes place in seasoned French oak barrels, a method chosen to enhance texture and complexity. This unique blend combines the youthful vigor of Cabernet Franc vines, known for their crisp and herbaceous notes, with the fruit-forward character and bold flavors of Syrah Rose.

Following fermentation, the wine is aged for six months in old French oak, allowing it to develop a harmonious combination of freshness and depth. The resulting Rose Blend captivates with its bright and juicy profile, showcased by a delicate pale salmon hue in the glass. Its Crisp acidity harmonizes perfectly with a textured mouthfeel, delivering a refreshing and well-balanced experience that retains the structure and inspiration behind its production.
