Pinot Noir
Gentle Folk Single Vineyard Scary Gully Pinot Noir 2023
The Pinot Noir at Scary Gully is one of the highest and oldest in the Adelaide Hills, situated upon a ridge of sandstone and quartz. The 2023 vintage turned out to be the coolest and latest on record, presenting significant farming challenges on the steep, wet slopes. However, the low-yielding, cool, and slow ripening season has resulted in wines that exhibit a depth and tension rarely achieved in the Hills, particularly from 2023, making it a true testament to the site.
