Varney Wines 'Entrada' Grenache Mourvèdre Touriga 2020
The ‘Entrada’ range of wines are made in a modern, approachable, drink now style. Inspired by Winemaker Alan Varney’s time in the small Portuguese town of Entradas, in Alentejo, where he lived a vintage in 2017.
“A modern take on varieties well suited to McLaren Vale this is a fresh, approachable red blend styled on the very drinkable red wines of Portugal and Spain. The Grenache provides vibrant juicy red fruits, the Mourvèdre structure and powdery tannin, and the Touriga an alluring floral aromatic lift. This is a versatile red that can be enjoyed in virtually any situation.” - Alan Varney, Winemaker
