Schwarz Wine Co. is the creation of Jason Schwarz, who was drawn back to his roots in the Barossa Valley. Initially starting as a cellar hand, Jason discovered a deep connection with winemaking, recognizing it as an instinctive passion for working with grapes. Encouraged by a winemaking friend, he launched his own label in 2001, sourcing grapes from his family’s vineyards.

Over the years, Jason has cultivated strong relationships with a network of growers across the Barossa, each contributing unique characteristics influenced by their distinct microclimates and soils. His hands-on approach involves walking the vineyard rows, tasting fruit, and understanding the nuances of each season.
