Big Shed Brewing

Craig and Jason began brewing in Jason’s shed in a rented property in the Barossa back in 2002. The shed was huge, a farmers shed with easily enough room for the brewing equipment hardware, tools and a mechanics pit which was perfect for keeping their brews at a constant fermenting temp.

It was here they began their love affair with making beer. They soon realised they could follow their curiosity and see what happens when berries are added to a brew (good things actually) And discovering what using a different yeast do to the flavours. The boys explain they made some cracking beers that folks loved, and admit they also made some abominations never to be seen again…they say it's part of their journey and would do it all again.

In September 2014 they launched their tasting bar and kitchen. Comprising of 6 taps and food that goes with their beer and you can eat with your hands. They are open Wednesday through to Sunday, slinging brews and food to eager locals and visitors alike.
